The only problem I see is, what Tyson had, I’m not sure you can coach. He had so much natural God given talent. In his prime he was a sensation, he was a kid, going in to the ring and destroying seasoned professionals. If the guy had of been managed properly then he’d still be at the top of his game. Yet once fighters lose that 5% that makes them killers they never get it back and it’s over for good
I completely agree. When Cus died, Mike began to decline, even though he still beat alot of guys. It was obvious to many trainers that he would eventually self destruct, and that is exactly what happened. He could have been one of the all time greats, but now merely a foot note! This comes from a one time fan, and a disapointed one at that!

Tyson was in his prime when he lost to douglas,just not at his best.When tyson used movement and worked behind jab and threw combos he was the best.When he started to just stand flat and shoot one power shot at a time he was just an ordinary fighter with a little power.However,Tyson was most furocious champ ever at his best.He made good fighters look silly and dominated like Klitchkos but with power.Holyfield and Lewis did not get the best Tyson but that was Tyson’s fault.Still all time great!
